The gorgeous Alessandra Ambrosio just covered Ocean Drive magazine and in the accompanying interview, opened up on what it's like to have Victoria's Secret Angels as coworkers.
"We get inspired by each other. They're my coworkers, they're gorgeous, and everyone there has their own spotlight," she said. "When you have kids at home, there are way more important things to worry about."
Alessandra's Victoria's Secret connections run deep: She began working with the company as a fit model before she turned 20 and was named the first ambassador for Pink. She's official VS royalty now, having been selected to model the jewel-encrusted Fantasy Bra in December's runway show—for the second time.
"Before the first time I did it, I was like, 'When am I going to wear the Fantasy Bra, when is it going to be my turn?'" she said, admitting she never thought she'd wear it again. "It was new, and me and Adriana [Lima] had a great time. We've known each other for a long time. We started at the same time in Brazil, and we've done a lot of shoots together for Victoria's Secret." The idyllic coworker vibe involves sharing too: "Maybe today it's my turn to wear the Fantasy Bra, but next year, it's going to be someone else."
Of her own career, Alessandra has a healthy outlook (the sort that makes someone into a nice person to work with, IMO). "I just try to live the fullest each day of my life," she said. "I don't think this is a career where you can plan too much. I try to always be prepared, so if stuff comes my way, I'm ready to do it. But I don't say, 'I want to do this and this and this,' and then if I don't do it, I get disappointed. I don't think that way."
