'Gone too soon': Naomi Campbell pays tribute to her friend George Michael after starring in his iconic Freedom '90 video
She famously appeared in George Michael's iconic Freedom '90 video.
And Naomi Campbell revealed on Wednesday that she's still grieving for the star, who was found dead nine days ago.
The 46-year-old London-born beauty told The View: 'I’m very sad that he’s not here.'

She revealed she hung out with the pop music icon backstage at the London Olympic Games in 2012.
Speaking of the star who died on Christmas Day, aged 53, she added: 'Gone too soon.'
Campbell posting many tribute to the singer at the time on Instagram.

She wrote: 'There will never be another iconic voice like yours , my first slow dance with a boy was to your voice . R.i.P George Michael,' and described filming Freedom ’90 as 'an honor.'
She also posted: '#my condolences to your family and loved ones , you will never know how many lives you touched with your soulful voice and your fight for LGBT rights . Stand Tall George the Angels are awaiting you !!! May you Rest In Peace.'
The model explained to The View hosts that she was exhausted from Paris Fashion Week when she starred with Supers Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, and Tatjana Patitz in the David Fincher-directed video.

'I was [filming] the first day, coming from a Thierry Mugler [show] - which we did five shows, from 6:30 a.m. in the morning ’til 3:30 a.m. the next morning, and then had to fly on the first flight out and go Paris to London, right to set.
'I was exhausted, but so happy to be there.'
It became one of the most famous and iconic videos in music and fashion history, and Campbell recalled how they lip-synced to the lyrics.
'We were all singing the song anyway, because we loved the song,' she told the show.
Naomi has moved on to acting and was promoting her role in new Fox series Stars, alongside Lenny Kravitz.
